Collection: Fian Arroyo

For over 25 years, I’ve been creating award-winning illustrations and character designs for clients, including Fortune 500 companies, across the advertising, editorial, toy & game, and publishing industries. My commercial illustration work has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators of New York and The Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. More recently, my fantasy artwork has been featured in Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art and Infected by Art. I’ve also had the privilege of participating in renowned art shows and conventions such as IX Art Show (The Main Show), San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic Con, Dragon Con (Atlanta), Emerald City Comic Con (Seattle), C2E2 (Chicago), Gen Con (Indianapolis), and WOWXWOW’s online group art show based in Scotland, among others.

Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, I grew up as a U.S. Army brat, living in places like Japan, Panama, and several U.S. states. I earned my BFA in Commercial Art from Texas State University and launched my freelance illustration career in Miami, Florida. In 2014, after relocating from Miami Beach to Asheville, North Carolina, I expanded into fantasy art while continuing my commercial work. Today, my fantasy pieces can be found in galleries throughout the Southeast. Currently, I live in Weaverville, North Carolina, where I’m happily “held hostage” by my wife, two kids, a Great Pyrenees, and a mortgage.
